Hynes Charter School is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as an administrative member of the Instructional Leadership Team for our K–8 school community at Hynes-Parkview. We are looking for a collaborative, student-centered leader who believes that great schools are built through strong relationships, shared leadership, continuous improvement, and an unwavering commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities

The administrator will:

  • Partner with the instructional leadership team to advance the school's vision, mission, and strategic priorities.
  • Support the implementation of high-quality instructional systems that promote academic excellence for all students.
  • Coach, support, and develop teachers through observation, feedback, professional learning, and collaborative planning.
  • Help establish, monitor, and evaluate schoolwide goals and action plans.
  • Foster a positive school culture that promotes student achievement, belonging, and well-being.
  • Lead and support initiatives related to student behavior, attendance, family engagement, and school operations.
  • Analyze academic, behavioral, and operational data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to implement innovative solutions that improve student outcomes.
  • Serve as a visible, positive presence throughout the school community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (required) Master's degree (strongly preferred) in Educational Leadership or related field.
  • Louisiana Educational Leadership certification (or eligibility).
  • Successful experience as a teacher leader, instructional coach, assistant principal, or school administrator.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and improving student outcomes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to equity, excellence, and continuous learning.
